Mates Group started with Mates Furniture & Marketing Sdn. Bhd. to distribute the parent company Mahakota Sdn. Bhd. made furnitures.
Since then Mates Group has expended the foot print in timber industry by involving in timber logging, logistic, saw milling and including production of semi finished timber for various industry.

Logging & Sawmill
Mates always ensure that logging is carried out on a proper forest management to ensure minimal impact on the environment and trees to be harvested are based on specifications approved by the Forestry Department.
Our sawmilling process including managing incoming logs and going through the bandsaws, sorting, stacking, seasoning, selection of off-cuts, bundling and stock handling.
Timber Products
Mates will attend to client needs fully by providing technical assistance in producing various custom made length and dimension sawn timber, moulding, decking, flooring, components, solid door, door frame, landscaping product and semi-finished products. There are many standard items and limitless possibilities for customer specific products.
Currently, our products are mainly exported to China, Thailand and etc.
